We are a fully licensed premises which allow hirers to provide their own alcohol. In addition we have a well stocked and very reasonably priced Bar which is available for hire for £30 an hour including 2 staff (subject to availability).If you are wishing to sell alcohol at your event this can be done by applying for a temporary event notice (TEN) from South Hams District Council which costs £21:

Booking Form
Please use the form below if you would like to book our village hall.
The Start and Finish times of your booking must include all set-up and clear-up time.
A 50% Deposit is payable on booking.

- Fill in the booking form below.
- Once the completed form has been received by the bookings coordinator, an invoice with the bacs details to pay the deposit will be emailed to you, along with the hiring agreement.
- On receipt of the deposit, a confirmation email will be sent and the date booked on the calendar.
Cancellation:
A 50% Deposit is Payable on booking to secure the date, the remaining 50% is due 4 weeks in advance of the event, failure to do so will result in both the cancellation of the booking and the withholding of the deposit.
- No charge if cancelled 4 weeks or more before a booking
- The 50% deposit will be withheld if cancellation is between 4 and 1 weeks before a booking
- 100% of booking charge is due if cancellation is 1 week or less before a booking.
The hirer shall vacate the premises promptly at the end of the hire period. The Hirer shall be responsible for leaving the premises and surrounding area in a clean and tidy condition, all rubbish must be taken away and the hall properly locked and secured unless directed otherwise and any contents temporarily removed from their usual positions properly returned otherwise, SVCA shall be at liberty to make an additional charge.
